Africa

Stanford has three related entities in Africa; two branch registrations and a non-profit entity.

The branch registrations in (i) Accra, Ghana and (ii) Nairobi, Kenya house Stanford’s Graduate School of Business’ Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies (Seed) initiatives. The Seed program partners with entrepreneurs across Africa to help them build thriving enterprises which transform lives.

The non-profit entity in Cape Town, South Africa is jointly sponsored by (i) the Bing Overseas Study Program (BOSP);  it houses its undergraduate overseas study experience in South Africa and (ii) the Stanford Center for Health Education; it houses the South African programs of the Digital Medic initiative.
