Stanford’s International Travel Policy provides guidelines for faculty, staff, graduate, and post graduate students, as well as stipulations and restrictions for undergraduates.

Further, Stanford personnel should be aware of provisions for traveling with electronic devices. Additionally, traveling outside of the U.S. may require supplemental documents, such as visas, permits, or immunization records. After reviewing the guidance provided in Stanford’s International Travel Policy, travelers should make their own informed decisions regarding health, safety, and security – including whether it is safe to travel. University resources are available to advise should there be concerns. Contact Office of International Affairs or Office of Risk Management.
